An exciting opportunity exists for a Parmacist to join the team at Gympie Hospital. The common objective of the Pharmacy Service is that patients derive maximum benefit from medications whilst being exposed to minimum risk. This purpose will be achieved by the deployment of a skilled and caring pharmacy workforce.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities
  • This position requires you to adhere to National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Safe Care Framework, which has been developed in collaboration with staff, consumers and key stakeholders to enable our vision of health and wellbeing through person‑centred care.
  • Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service
  • Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti‑discrimination, work health and safety and ethical behaviour.
  • Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces and manage all information in accordance with legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.

Remuneration value up to $11,047.25 p.m., comprising salary between $3030.00 - $4453.50 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Fixed Term Temporary Full‑time or Part‑time position, hours negotiable up to 76 hour p.f., position available for 11 months).
