Job summary

Woods & Co Recruitment partners with an industry-leading cannabis dispensary to recruit a Pharmacist in Charge in Australia. You will lead a team of pharmacists and front-of-shop staff, educate patients on medicinal cannabis, and dispense medications in line with prescriptions and regulations.

The role emphasizes ensuring compliant records, maintaining stock, and shaping company culture with leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Pharmacy degree required.
APHRA registration to practice as a Pharmacist in Australia (unrestricted).
At least 5 years of experience as a Pharmacist.
Experience leading or managing staff.
Experience handling S4 and S8 medications.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of pharmacists and front-of-shop staff to ensure high quality customer service and efficiency.
Educate and consult with patients to ensure safe, informed use of medicinal cannabis.
Dispense medications accurately in line with prescriptions and regulatory requirements.
Maintain precise customer records to support compliance and continuity of care.
Ensure full compliance with pharmacy regulations and company protocols.
Manage stock ordering and receiving to keep dispensary inventory accurate and secure.
