Job summary

Sigma Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacist for our CWH Rocklea location in Queensland. The role starts as a casual position with potential to move to part-time, offering exposure to all aspects of the dispensary and store operations.

You will provide high-quality patient counselling, ensure compliance with industry standards, and contribute to business development initiatives while supporting a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Pharmacist with a valid AHPRA registration.
• Experience dispensing medications within a community pharmacy environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commercial awareness, business acumen and strong attention to detail.
• Collaborative and coaching leadership capabilities, with demonstrated interpersonal and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently using MyScripts.
• Day-to-day management of store, dispensary and team operations.
• Dispensary inventory management and order processing.
• Professional patient counselling and providing complete patient care solutions.
• Provide supervision to Interns, Student Pharmacists and Dispensary Assistants.
• Support and develop new business strategies in pharmacy best practice.

About the opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our fast-paced, growing business! This role will initially be offered on a casual basis, with the potential to transition to part-time employment in the future.

In the Pharmacist role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Accurately and efficiently dispensing prescriptions using MyScripts.
• Day-to-day management of store, dispensary and team operations.
• Dispensary inventory management and order processing.
• Professional patient counselling and providing complete patient care solutions.
• Providing supervision to Interns, Student Pharmacists and Dispensary Assistants.
• Supporting and developing new business strategies in pharmacy best practice.
