Capital Chemist Curtin is a vibrant community pharmacy located in a local shopping village. Our vision is to provide outstanding patient care to our community and to achieve positive health outcomes with our team of highly trained, professional pharmacists and support staff.
We pride ourselves on our high level of customer satisfaction, which we achieve through supporting our pharmacists to provide the best possible health care and advice, as well as through our very comprehensive range of pharmacist services. Our constant expanding range of services includes vaccinations, leave certificates, opioid substitution therapy, dose aid administration packs, wound care, delivery services and ear piercing.
We are a compounding pharmacy, which allows us to serve our community by preparing medicines for human and animal use which are not commercially available. We also supply IVF medicines to the Canberra community and advise on the optimal use and administration of these specialised medicines.

We always have at a least one dispense technician rostered on during all opening hours to support our pharmacists. On average, we have three pharmacists rostered on for the of the day with a script load of less than 300. This allows a high level of support from our team as well as the opportunity for our pharmacists to spend time with patients to ensure better health outcomes.
The successful pharmacist applicant who joins our team will be expected to counsel patients about medications including IVF treatments; provide advice in the front of shop; assist with our dose aid administration service and drive all aspects of our professional services, including vaccinations and compounding.
The roster can be flexible with working part time (3 days) to full time (5 days) per week.
The pay rate is negotiable based on skills and level of experience. We value and appreciate our pharmacists and will reward your hard work and dedication.
