Job summary

Blooms The Chemist Carrum Downs is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacist to join a brand-new pharmacy located within a busy medical centre. You will work closely with patients and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality pharmacy services and patient care.

Key responsibilities include dispensing and checking prescriptions, providing medication counselling, supporting vaccinations and other programs, and building strong relationships with the local community. Weekend availability is required.

Blooms The Chemist Carrum Downs is a newly opened pharmacy located within a busy medical centre, and we’re looking for a passionate and professional Part-Time Pharmacist to join our growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys working closely with patients and healthcare professionals and wants to be part of establishing a strong community-focused pharmacy.

About the Role

As a Part-Time Pharmacist, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality pharmacy services and patient care. Working alongside our friendly team and in close proximity to medical practitioners, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with both patients and the local healthcare community.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Dispensing and checking prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Providing professional advice and medication counselling

About You

We’re looking for a pharmacist who is:

• AHPRA registered with Australian pharmacy experience
• Passionate about delivering excellent patient care
• Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with patients and healthcare professionals
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• A strong team player who enjoys being part of a close-knit team
• Interested in building relationships within the local community
• Available to work weekends

Previous community pharmacy experience is highly regarded.
