Job summary

The Baxter Healthcare Australia site in Canning Vale is seeking a Process Worker – Compounding Assistant on a permanent basis. Join a team dedicated to producing Baxter’s compounded products with accuracy and efficiency.

No prior pharmaceutical experience is required as full training is provided. You will perform material picking, labelling, packing and GMP-compliant documentation while adhering to safety procedures and shift schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare, manufacturing or warehousing would be advantageous
• Demonstrate a good understanding of basic mathematics
• Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Be able to use computer systems
• Collaborating effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals in a fast-paced environment
• Have good attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Executing repetitive results in a consistent and accurate manner
• Providing assistance in environments with defined procedures and protocols
• Adapting to shift work schedules as needed
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing raw materials
• Labelling, inspection and sealing of compounded products
• Packing of finished units for each order including final inspection of products
• Labelling and dispatching of prepared products
• Maintaining and housekeeping of work area consumables
• Ensuring documentation is completed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
• Adhering to Baxter’s Standard Operating Procedures
• Other duties as required
