Qualifications

  • Professional dog grooming experience desirable.
  • Ability to groom independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of dog breeds and behaviours.
  • Physically fit with the ability to safely lift and handle animals.
  • Confident working with live animals and skilled in animal handling techniques.
  • Understanding of zoonotic and skin diseases.
  • Proven track record of meeting grooming KPIs.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to embed safe work practices.

A Peek Into Your Petstock Day
  • Deliver full grooming services for a variety of breeds and coat types — including Full Grooms, Tidies, Double Coats, Bath & Dry, Nail Clips, Clipping, Scissoring and Styling.
  • Create a positive, memorable grooming experience for every customer and their dog
  • Coordinate grooming salon operations and client flow alongside the Store Manager
  • Manage client bookings and follow-up care conversations
  • Support the shop floor team when needed, providing exceptional customer service that creates memorable interactions
  • Maintain a consistently high standard of salon presentation, oversee salon orders including consumable levels and equipment servicing
  • Collaborate with your Store Manager and team to meet member program targets and expectations
  • Support local marketing opportunities and contribute to recruitment referral programs
  • Work with the team to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Uphold a strong safety mindset and champion a culture of safety across the salon and store
Qualifications
  • Professional dog grooming experience desirable
  • Ability to groom independently or as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of dog breeds and behaviours, and commitment to maintaining grooming standards and product knowledge
  • Physically fit with the ability to safely lift and handle animals
  • Confident working with live animals and skilled in animal handling techniques
  • Understanding of zoonotic and skin diseases and how to identify them
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding grooming KPIs, with high-quality care and customer satisfaction
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to embed safe work practices throughout the salon and store
