Local Workforce Hire in Australia is seeking General Labourers and Casual Trade Assistants for ongoing site work across construction, landscaping, and industrial projects. You’ll perform a variety of tasks, support trades, and help keep sites organized and safe while earning reliable weekly pay and enjoying a clear path to ongoing work.

Ideal candidates have 12 months on-site experience, a Construction White Card, a valid Driver Licence, and reliable transport.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card is required.
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.

Responsabilités

• Site preparation and clean-up.
• Wheelbarrowing materials and digging/trenching.
• Lifting and carrying materials; packing and stacking.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Container unloading
• Site clean-ups and final cleans
• General manual handling duties

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
• Hard hat
• Safety glasses
• Work gloves
• High-visibility clothing
