Job summary

WA State Government agency is seeking a Project Coordinator to support end-to-end delivery of a large technology program in Perth, with 5 days onsite at Perth CBD. You will work with program managers and technical leads to coordinate activities, governance, and deliverables across multiple technology workstreams.

The role requires 5+ years in project coordination within IT/delivery projects, strong stakeholder engagement, and experience with governance and financial management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator on large-scale IT and application delivery projects (budgets >$2M).
• Strong understanding of modern software development lifecycles and governance processes.
• Experience managing project financials, scheduling, risk tracking, and governance artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities, schedules, and deliverables across multiple technology workstreams.
• Monitor and support mitigation of risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Manage project financial administration, including budgeting, forecasting, and vendor timesheet processing.
• Maintain project governance and documentation using Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) tools.
• Facilitate project board meetings and provide secretariat services for governance forums and workshops.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, board packs, change records, and lessons learned documentation.
• Support program managers and technical leads to ensure alignment with enterprise delivery frameworks.
