Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer Domestic to support clients in the community from Kelvin Grove to Samford and surrounding areas. You will travel between visits, helping with daily tasks and domestic duties to improve quality of life.

The role requires a current Australian driver’s license (Green Provisional minimum) and a suitable vehicle, plus comfort with smartphones and other tech. This is a permanent part-time position with salary packaging and travel reimbursement benefits.

• Experience in caring for others in community settings.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Comfort with using mobile devices for communication and records.

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance including cleaning, meal prep, laundry and ironing.
• Support clients with daily activities and independence during home visits.
• Transport and assist with shopping and appointments.

Remuneration:$34.50 p/hr + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM's) + Employee discounts

About the role:

As aPersonal CarerDomestic you'll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities

Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal preparation & laundry and ironing

Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements:

Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential

Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential

Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc

Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
