Job summary

BlueCare in Queensland seeks a Personal Carer Domestic to provide in-home support across Dakabin, Griffin and surrounding areas. You\'ll help clients maintain independence, perform domestic tasks, and accompany visits. Roles involve driving to client homes, scheduling visits, cleaning, cooking and laundry, plus shopping assistance.

A valid Australian driver\'s licence and a roadworthy vehicle are essential. We offer casual loading, superannuation, salary packaging options and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – Essential
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work – Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• As a Personal Carer Domestic you’ll provide care to clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.
• Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
• Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal preparation & laundry and ironing
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

About the role

As a Personal Carer Domestic you’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal preparation & laundry and ironing Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.
