Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer in Coolum Beach, QLD, to support clients in the community, helping with daily living activities and in-home care. You will travel between visits, support clients in daily tasks, and assist with transport and appointments under a personalised Care Plan. Essential: Certificate III Aged Care/Indiv.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care/Individual Support (or equivalent) is essential.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) is essential.
• Vehicle to use for work must be roadworthy and insured (Third Party Property minimum).
• Experience with technology (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance.
• Complete scheduled visits and interact one-on-one with clients in their homes.
• Assist with showering, meal prep, housekeeping, laundry and ironing.
• Support clients with transport to appointments and shopping; carry out according to individual Care Plans.
