Job summary

Homewell in Melbourne's North & West is expanding to Melton, Bacchus Marsh and surrounding areas, inviting experienced carers to join a boutique in-home care team. You will contribute to a person-centered approach in a supportive, learning-friendly setting.

As a Personal Care Worker for the Bacchus Marsh region, you will assist with daily living, offer companionship, ensure safety, support transport and domestic tasks.

Qualifications

• Cert III or IV in Aged Care or Disability is required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are essential.
• Medication training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients/participants with daily living activities (including personal care).
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Making the client feel safe, heard and respected.
• Providing transport and community access.
• Provide domestic assistance as needed.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced support worker in Melton, Bacchus Marsh & Surroundsto join our growing care team.

Some of your tasks will include:

• Assisting clients/participants with daily living activities (including personal care)


• Providing companionship and emotional support


• Making the client feel safe, heard and respected


• Providing transport and community access


• Provide domestic assistance as needed

About You

• Cert III or IV in Aged Care or Disability (required)


• Medication trained (desirable)


• Experience with complex care in disability


• Understanding of professional boundaries within the support work scope


• CPR and First Aid certifications


• Your own reliable transport with comprehensive insurance and a Victorian Driver License
