Job summary

Opal HealthCare’s Gawler Hillside Care Community in South Australia offers a 126-bed, resort-style residence with private ensuites, a cafe, and riverside town access. A permanent part-time role is open to provide personal care, build meaningful relationships with residents, and collaborate with nurses to deliver high-quality care.

You’ll hold a Certificate III/IV in Individual Support or be an Aged Care/Disability Nursing student, and you must be reliable with a rotating roster, including

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability Nursing student.
• A caring approach, strong communication skills and commitment to resident wellbeing.
• Reliability and availability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays where required.
• Ability to complete required pre-employment checks, including a police check, NDIS Worker’s Clearance and pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care that supports residents’ daily living, dignity and wellbeing.
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
• Support residents with meals, mobility, hygiene and social engagement.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team to deliver safe, high-quality care.
• Contribute to a warm, respectful and supportive care community.
• Follow workplace health, safety, clinical and compliance requirements.
