Job summary

H1 Group is seeking caring Personal Care Workers to provide in-home aged care across the Brisbane region. You will help clients live safely and independently in their homes with dignity and respect, working flexible short shifts.

The role covers domestic assistance, personal care and social support, requiring travel across Brisbane with a valid licence and comprehensive insurance. Must have relevant industry qualifications and checks.

Qualifications

• 100 Points of Identification and a full Australian driver's licence preferred.
• Current flu vaccination and First Aid/CPR certification are required.
• National Police Check (and international if applicable) is required.
• Relevant industry qualification is mandatory.
• NDIS or WWCC checks are highly regarded but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Domestic assistance: general household tasks, cleaning, laundry and light meal prep.
• Personal care: support with daily living, showering and grooming as needed.
• Social support: companionship, transport to appointments and community activities.

Personal Care Worker / Aged Home Care Worker across Brisbane, QLD

Employment Type: Casual / Ad-hoc / Flexible Shifts / Ongoing

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Workers and Domestic Assistants to provide high-quality in-home support to our clients across the Brisbane area and surrounding areas.

Please note: The shifts currently being offered are short shifts only. These are suitable for workers who are looking for flexible, short-duration care and domestic assistance shifts rather than full-day or long shifts.

This role involves assisting clients to live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. Support is delivered with dignity, respect, and a person-centred approach.

Duties May Include

Domestic Assistance

• Assisting elderly clients with general household tasks
• Cleaning, vacuuming and mopping
• Laundry, ironing and light meal preparation

Personal Care

• Personal care and activities of daily living
• Assistance with showering and grooming
• Medication prompting
• Manual handling and mobility assistance

Social Support & Community Engagement

• Companionship and emotional support
• Community access and social outings
• Shopping and errands
• Transport to appointments
  (Must hold a full Australian driver's licence, have a reliable vehicle and current comprehensive insurance.)

About You

You are caring, trustworthy and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You enjoy supporting elderly clients and understand the importance of professionalism, safety and compassion in home care.

You should also be comfortable working short shifts and travelling to clients across the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.

Must Have the Following
