Job summary

Newly By Healthcarelink is recruiting Personal Care Assistants for a 129-bed residential home in Rosebud, Victoria. You will report to Registered Nurses and deliver care aligned with each resident's needs and preferences.

Ideal candidates have health or aged care experience, outstanding communication and computer literacy, and a Certificate III in Aged Care or are nursing students. This permanent, ongoing role includes staff benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in health/aged care sector preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Certificate III in Aged Care or Nursing student status.

Responsibilities

• Personal hygiene, grooming, manicuring and oral hygiene.
• Continence management.
• Assist with challenging behaviours via an individualised plan.
• Assist mobility and transfers using aids as required.
• Support with food and fluids as needed.
