Are you passionate about supporting the elderly with dignity, compassion, and respect? We're looking for a Part Time Personal Care Assistant to join our Residential Aged Care in Hervey Bay and make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

About the Role

As a Personal Care Assistant, you'll provide essential support and personal care to our residents, helping them maintain independence and enjoy a fulfilling quality of life. Working under the guidance of our experienced clinical team, you’ll assist with daily living activities, report on resident wellbeing, and help foster a warm and respectful community environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide personal care and daily living support to residents with respect and compassion.
  • Assist with meal delivery, refreshments, and menu checks.
  • Accurately document resident observations and report concerns to the nursing team.
  • Complete general ward duties and respond to delegated tasks.
  • Actively contribute to a safe, clean, and positive environment.
  • Uphold privacy, dignity, and the wellbeing of all residents.
What We’re Looking For
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
  • Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in aged care or a residential care setting.
  • Understanding of issues affecting older people and those living with disabilities.
