Disability North is seeking a Female Personal Assistant to support a lively, visually impaired woman in Dumpling Hall, Newcastle. The role includes assisting with daily living, personal care, and accompanying her to social activities, with a focus on sighted guiding and privacy.

The candidate should be lively, outgoing, reliable, and flexible in hours, able to push a wheelchair, and have permission to work in the U.K. This position is UK-based and excludes family living outside Newcastle.

Formación

• Good communication skills.

• Physically able to push a wheelchair and load it into a vehicle.
• Flexible hours and reliable.
• Sighted guide duties may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with social activities such as shopping, meeting family and friends, and attending theatre or gigs.
• Be my sighted guide when out and about.
• Work under direction to meet my needs and be accountable in all aspects of the role.
• Respect privacy and maintain confidentiality in all areas of work.
