Job summary

A carer with empathy and reliability is essential, and a UK driving licence is required for insurance purposes. Hours are flexible with a bank of hours from 0 to 20 per week, with a permanent contract after probation.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence, at least two years old for insurance purposes
• Ability to work independently with little prompting
• Ability to drive an automatic vehicle
• Experience in adult social care

Responsibilities

• Household tasks, e.g. cleaning, cooking, shopping
• Accompanying me to appointments or on days out
• Assisting me with all daily living activities as needed, so I can live as independently as possible
• Help during medical emergencies and management of symptoms together
