Job summary

Optimal Recruitment is seeking a hands-on pick packer for a Sydney-based meal delivery business. This permanent role runs Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., in a small, friendly team environment. The ideal candidate will handle picking, packing, labeling, and stock control with attention to detail in a cold/frozen setting.

You will work with scanners, manage batch numbers, and help maintain food safety standards while supporting daily throughput and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, pick packing or order fulfilment experience.
• Reliable, hardworking and self-motivated.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately using pick slips.
• Check products, quantities and batch numbers.
• Pack and seal customer orders to quality standards.
• Label and prepare orders for courier collection.
• Scan and update shipment information.
• Receive and check stock deliveries.
• Organise freezer storage and rotate stock correctly.
• Assist with stocktakes and inventory control.
• Keep work areas clean, organised and safe.
• Follow food safety and quality procedures.
• Support the team to meet daily operational targets.
