About the Role

CareSouth is seeking two (2) dedicated, full-time Caseworkers to join our Griffith team.

As a Caseworker you will be a part of a team which works dynamically across the child protection spectrum, from family preservation, permanency support, restoration and adoption.

What you need to be successful in your role :

• Demonstrate a commitment to the safety of children, young people and people with a disability.
• Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Diploma in Social Sciences, Social Welfare or equivalent.
• Demonstrated understanding of the issues facing vulnerable children and their families.
• Sound interpersonal, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a high performing team.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective community networks.
• Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding and commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity, Work Health and Safety, Cultural Awareness and the NSW Child Protection system.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Willing to undergo a National Police Clearance, obtain a (NSW) Working with Children Check clearance, and NDIS Workers Clearance.
