About The Facility

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

About The Role

The Change & Training Manager is responsible for designing, leading, and executing enterprise change and training strategies to drive successful adoption of the People Plus Program, encompassing the implementation of a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for Barwon Health and 4 rural health services (Colac Area Health, Hesse Rural Health, Great Ocean Road Health and Timboon & District Healthcare Service.

This critical role will partner closely with the Project Manager, key stakeholders at the 4 rural health services, and Project Sponsor to understand the organisation’s people, culture, communication channels, and system experiences — ensuring that changes are effectively embedded and sustained.

The Change & Training Manager will develop and deliver an enterprise change management framework, oversee all change and training activities, and build capability across participating Health Services to support staff through the transition. The role will also work collaboratively with internal communication, key internal People and Culture teams, and project delivery teams to ensure alignment, minimise disruption, and enhance user adoption across all impacted areas.
