People & Culture Executive

The People & Culture Executive helps create a safe supportive and engaging workplace at Pullman Melbourne on the Park. This role coordinates key people initiatives ensuring the hotel follows important safety laws and policies supports staff wellbeing and builds a positive team environment where everyone can do their best work. The position also provides administrative assistance to the People & Culture team maintaining accurate records running reports and supporting onboarding to deliver an exceptional employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) initiatives – support hotel safety programs, run safety training and ensure safety checks carried out.
  • Manage Return to Work – help injured or unwell staff return to work safely following company policies.
  • Monitor Compliance – keep track of employment laws and workplace rules to stay compliant and report as required.
  • Coordinate Engagement Activities – plan and deliver team activities, recognition events and staff programs to keep people motivated and connected.
  • Support Onboarding and Daily People Operations – coordinate onboarding, prepare induction materials, ensure access and documentation complete and help new hires settle in.
  • Provide Administrative Assistance and Reporting – maintain employee records and documentation, prepare correspondence and contract paperwork and run regular HR metric reports.
