Are you passionate about creating a thriving workplace culture? ISS is seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our team in a dynamic generalist HR role. You’ll partner closely with site leaders to drive engagement, enhance retention, and deliver impactful people initiatives across our ISS Defence contracts.

About the Role

As a trusted P&C advisor across ISS Defence contracts, you’ll align people & culture strategies with business objectives, driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, build capability, and foster a high-performance culture. This role provides expert guidance on all HR matters to support organisational growth and contract success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary P&C partner for ISS Defence contracts, delivering end-to-end HR support.
  • Manage security clearances and DISP reporting in compliance with AGSVA protocols.
  • Partner with leaders to embed HR strategies into operational plans.
  • Support recruitment and workforce planning to meet contractual requirements.
  • Lead culture improvement initiatives and team development programs.
  • Drive change management and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, legislation, and Defence standards.
  • Coach managers through performance reviews and employee relations issues.
  • Maintain accurate role profiles and support training programs.
  • Respond promptly to operational challenges and urgent staffing needs.
  • Promote an inclusive, respectful workplace culture across all sites.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with DISP reporting and Defence compliance (desirable).
