Job summary

NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure seeks a People Data Analyst to deliver HR analytics, reporting and workforce insights. You'll work with large datasets to provide trends, risks and capability insights to leaders.

You'll develop standard and ad hoc reports, support statutory reporting, and drive data quality and automation. The role offers a 35-hour week, Parramatta office with flexible working and a 12-month temporary contract.

Qualifications

  • Experience analysing and reporting on workforce or HR data and translating findings for stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret large datasets and identify trends.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, Alteryx, Excel, SAP or similar.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with large datasets from multiple source systems and data governance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver people analytics and workforce insights to support decision making.
  • Develop and maintain HR reports and dashboards.
  • Support mandatory workforce reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive data-driven improvements.
