Job summary

Teys is seeking two experienced Pen Riders / Livestock Hands for the Condamine Feedlot, located in the Western Darling Downs, Queensland. The role involves daily pen riding, cattle handling, inductions, health checks, and drafting, with record keeping and routine maintenance of feedlot equipment.

A supportive team environment and work-life balance are emphasized. The successful applicants will work a 10 days on, 4 days off roster with a full-time permanent package starting from $32.31 p/hour,

Condamine Feedlotis located in the Western Darling Downs of Queensland, 3 hours from Toowoomba. This modern 28000 head facility serves a key role in the Teys Australia supply chain producing quality beef for the domestic and export markets.

As a key member of our team, you’ll enjoy working across a number of primary tasks as part of our daily operations, including;

Daily pen riding and cattle handling.

Assist with inductions, daily health checks and drafting/cutting out.

Daily record keeping, general cleaning and maintenance of water troughs and other feedlot equipment.

You will requiretwohorses and required tack / gear.

Competent horsemanship and riding skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to foster a team environment.
