Job summary

APM seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver allied health services for children aged 0-16 at our Fannie Bay clinic in Darwin. You will assess, plan, implement and monitor tailored therapy programs across clinic, home and school settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in solution-focused therapy and early intervention.
• Ability to adapt services to meet individual needs.
• Experience engaging with children, families and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Exceptional observational and report writing skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and independently in the community.

Responsibilities

• Identify and complete assessments appropriate for each client.
• Manage a caseload including complex clients using a case management approach.
• Develop, implement, evaluate and adjust tailored therapy programs.
• Deliver services across clinic, home, school, and community settings.
• Collaborate with allied health team members to achieve outcomes.
• Develop and deliver group therapy and parent workshops.
• Record treatment notes in PMS within 24 hours and provide reports.
• Align therapy plans with funding types and inform invoicing.
