Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQ HHS) is seeking a frontline cleaner to support infection control and clinical operations across CHQ facilities, including the Queensland Children's Hospital, CCHR, Bank Building, and QCHEP. The role contributes to delivering high-quality cleaning outcomes for children, young people and families.

Responsabilités

• Cleaning duties (including infectious environments) may include, but are not limited to, cleaning high and low areas such as walls, floors, bathrooms, windows, ceilings, furniture, and fittings, as well as sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, buffing, and scrubbing. Utilise IT platform software and devices, such as iClean, to track extra tasks and monitor cleaning status.
• Undertake general and periodic cleaning of all clinical and non-clinical areas within QCH and surrounding facilities, ensuring tasks are performed in accordance with CHQ procedures and standards, Infection Control Guidelines and the Strategic Operational Services Unit (SOSU).
• Work professionally and respectfully within the multidisciplinary team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively, supporting patient-centred care.
• Undertake specific tasks within the facility, which may include, but are not limited to, cleaning and making beds, and removing and replacing curtains.
• Removal and transportation of general, clinical, and recyclable waste.
