Job summary

The Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne seeks a Paediatric ENT consultant to backfill sabbatical leave. You will work across outpatient clinics, elective theatres and inpatient care, collaborating with multiple teams to deliver high-quality paediatric ENT services.

FRACS or equivalent with Paediatric Otolaryngology subspecialty and AHPRA registration are required. The role includes on-call duties and teaching responsibilities for trainees within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• FRACS or equivalent College Fellowship in Otolaryngology.
• Subspecialty experience in Paediatric Otolaryngology.
• Specialist Medical Registration with AHPRA allowing consultant practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality paediatric ENT care in outpatient, theatre and inpatient settings.
• Supervise junior medical staff and advanced trainees in Otolaryngology.
• Lead on-call roster and escalation processes for paediatric ENT cases.
• Participate in teaching and multidisciplinary education activities.
