Sunshine Coast Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Paediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU) to lead and coordinate nursing care for critically ill children. The role involves contributing to education, quality, safety and clinical governance, with a focus on ventilatory support management for paediatric patients.

Based at Sunshine Coast Health facilities in southeast Queensland, the position offers a supportive team, flexible arrangements, and opportunities to advance in a growing PCCU

Responsabilités

• Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
• Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
• Experience in caring for children requiring ventilatory support – wither invasive or non-invasive ventilation.
• Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast Health Values.
