Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Ability to plan for and implement high-impact teaching strategies and to evaluate student growth.
• Experience in monitoring, assessing student learning and using data to inform practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborate with students, families, staff and the wider community.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning to improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals; plan, implement and evaluate curriculum programs.
• Contribute to curriculum development and policy within the school.
• Undertake other teaching-related duties as required by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school activities; support student wellbeing.
