About the role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager the main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Full-function Payroll processing across multiple pay cycles
  • Calculation and processing of Superannuation and Payroll Tax
  • Calculation and processing of backpays, leave entitlements, and employee entitlements.
  • Processing of terminations and redundancies
  • Interpretation of Modern Awards and EBAs
  • Responding to Payroll related inquiriesSetting up and onboarding of new employees
  • Other ad hoc projects and tasks within the scope of the role

  • Demonstrated experience in the position accountabilities.
  • An exceptional eye for detail, time management skills, and ability to work to deadlines
  • You must be a strong problem solver with a “can-do” attitude.
