Job summary

Unison Solar Energy is expanding its quality function and seeks a QMS & Compliance Engineer to lead the development, implementation, and continual improvement of our Quality Management System and compliance frameworks across the business.

You will drive audits, document control, and management reporting, partnering with operations and the laboratory to close gaps and boost performance. This pivotal role supports scalable quality systems for a fast-growing renewables company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in consulting, technical delivery or project management.
• Background in engineering, environment, project management or another relevant technical discipline.
• Strong client-facing and relationship-building capability.
• Commercial mindset with interest in identifying and developing opportunities.
• Ability and willingness to contribute directly to project delivery.
• Collaborative approach across disciplines, projects and locations.
• Interest in contributing to Bundaberg business growth.
• Ambition to progress to broader leadership over time.
• Accreditation such as RPEQ and/or CPEng, or working towards it.

• Partner with teams to identify quality and compliance gaps and drive continual improvement.

Quality Management System & Compliance Engineer

Unison Solar Energy is strengthening its quality function to support the next phase of our growth. We are recruiting a Quality Management System (QMS) & Compliance Engineer to lead the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of our Quality Management System, compliance frameworks and audit readiness across the business.

In this role, you will lead QMS activities including document control, internal and external audits, compliance registers, management reporting and continual improvement, while partnering with teams across operations and the laboratory to identify gaps and strengthen performance.

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in building scalable quality systems for a fast-growing renewable energy business, while helping establish the standards and processes that underpin reliable solar products.

• Drive nonconformity, deviation and processes, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented and verified.
• Champion certification, regulatory and audit readiness, identifying opportunities to strengthen quality systems and processes.
• Partner with teams across the business to identify quality and compliance gaps and drive continual improvement initiatives.

What you will bring
