Job summary

ConnectSydney is seeking an Asset Engineer (Pavement) to support management of pavement assets across the Harbour Zone. You will ensure accurate asset data, perform inspections, and help develop maintenance strategies using the Asset Management System.

The role reports to the Strategic Asset Manager and involves planning, coordinating with contractors, and contributing to 3- and 10-year works plans. A company vehicle is provided for field inspections.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with pavement condition assessment and defect classification.
• Familiarity with asset management practices and ISO 55001 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure pavement data integrity in the asset management system.
• Review annual pavement survey data and update the pavement model.
• Assist in planning and prioritising rehabilitation and renewal works.
• Support stakeholder communications and respond to enquiries.
• Attend sites for validation and prepare pavement design maps as required.
