About the Role

Reporting to the Manager Patient Services, this position oversees the day‑to‑day operations of the Patient Services team to ensure efficient, accurate and patient centred admission services. The role provides frontline support, maintains data integrity, ensures compliance with privacy and health fund requirements, and contributes to a positive patient and consumer experience. This is a hands‑on supervisory position that supports staff performance, workflow management and service consistency.

About You

We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated capability in a similar hospital‑based patient services role, with strengths in team coordination, customer service and operational problem solving.

Demonstrated commitment to upholding and integrating the values of Bethesda Health Care.

Sound knowledge of health privacy legislation and admission procedures.

Proven ability to lead a team and manage a busy front‑line environment.

High‑level interpersonal and communication skills.

Skilled user of hospital information systems and the Microsoft Office suite.

Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem‑solving abilities.

Commitment to exceptional customer service and patient care.

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hospital or health services environment.

Certificate II or III in Business or similar.

Experience using hospital patient management or electronic rostering systems.
