Job summary

Benalla Health is seeking a casual team member to support our cleaning and catering services. You will work across a rotating roster seven days a week, ensuring high standards of cleanliness in patient, clinical and public areas, and assisting with meal preparation, plating, delivery and collection throughout the day.

This role also involves safe patient transport within the hospital, waste management and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for patients and staff in rural Victoria.

Qualifications

• Casual position with rotating roster, 7 days a week.
• Ability to work across cleaning, catering and patient transport tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours in a rural hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean workstation, catering areas, patient areas, corridors, entrance ways, staff areas and toilets.
• Assist with preparation, plating, delivery and collection of meals.
• Support safe transport of patients within the Hospital.
• Follow waste disposal and safety procedures.

The Opportunity

The team here at Benalla Health are looking for passionate individuals to join our team (Casual Position)

The successful applicant will be required to work a rotating roster 7 days a week.

The Role will be responsible for the effective and efficient cleaning of their workstation, catering areas, patient areas, corridors, entrance ways, staff areas, offices and staff and public toilets incorporating an effective waste disposal system. As well as the preparation, plating, delivery and collection of meals and catering throughout the day and safe transport of patients within the Hospital.
