Qualitas Health is seeking a highly organized Medical Receptionist for Doctors @ Nerang on the Gold Coast. You will be the first point of contact, greeting patients and scheduling appointments, while managing calls and patient records with care.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, stays detail-focused, and can multi-task in a fast-paced medical setting, upholding confidentiality and friendly service.

Qualifications

• Fast learner with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience as a Medical Receptionist and/or basic knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Must be proficient with computer skills (MS Office Suite).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit.
• Schedule appointments accurately, manage busy phones and inquiries appropriately.
• Management of patient records.
• Financial management - accounts collection and arrears.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception area and practice, include stock control management.
• Collaborate with medical staff and/or other team members regarding any changes in appointment schedules or urgent patient needs.
• Manage incoming/outgoing mail efficiently including sorting correspondence/documents.
