Healius in Victoria's Gippsland region is seeking a Pathology Collector to join our patient-focused team in Bairnsdale. You will collect blood and other samples, deliver a calm, professional patient experience, and help ensure specimens are handled accurately for timely diagnosis.
The role is part-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday 0700-1500, covering nursing homes and ACCs, with a 6-week paid training and supportive leadership, a strong team culture, and various wellbeing benefits.

As a Pathology Collector, you will collect blood and non-blood samples while delivering a positive, professional and caring experience to every patient. You’ll play an important role in ensuring samples are handled accurately and efficiently to support timely diagnosis and care.
Experienced Pathology Collectors are highly regarded, however this role can suit people from a range of backgrounds. Some of our most successful Collectors have come from working in aged care, disability support, nursing or in customer-facing roles where they have experience supporting people and providing a great service.

This role requires completion of a 6-week paid training program designed to build the essential skills and knowledge needed to succeed in collections. This requires a commitment to full-time hours for the first 2 weeks, followed by a minimum of 25 hours per week. Training is delivered internally as part of our Healius Academy onboarding program and may be accelerated based on previous experience.
