You will oversee sprinkler systems, hydrants, smoke control, and fire strategy from concept to completion, coordinating with architects and builders to deliver compliant engineering solutions.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior engineers, maintaining high technical standards, and ensuring designs meet Australian standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in fire protection/building services design.
• Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (or similar).
• Chartered (CPEng) or working towards will be highly regarded.
• Experience in project management and client liaison.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire protection design from concept to completion, including sprinkler systems, hydrants, smoke control, and fire strategy.
• Coordinate with architects, builders, and other engineering disciplines to deliver compliant, sustainable solutions.
