Job summary

Hawkesbury City Council in Windsor is seeking a capable gallery/museum operations coordinator to support the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery and Hawkesbury Regional Museum.

Based in Windsor, you will help deliver welcoming, professionally managed spaces for residents and visitors, supervise staff or volunteers, and ensure safety and quality customer service. Essential criteria include a high school certificate, Australian work rights, and a current Working with Children Check.

Qualifications

• High School Certificate
• Experience delivering or supporting public programs
• Demonstrated experience in a gallery or museum environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• the right to live and work in Australia
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Class C Driver Licence
• Successful applicants will be required to undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
• Tertiary qualifications or working towards gaining a qualification in visual arts, history or a related field
• Experience supporting or supervising volunteers
• Experience in emergency warden duties

Responsibilities

• The Role: supports the delivery of high-quality services across the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery, and Hawkesbury Regional Museum.
• You will play a key part in ensuring these spaces are welcoming, professionally managed, and accessible to both residents and visitors.
