Territory Business Development Executive (Field‑Based, Part‑Time)

We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Business Development Executive to join our team in Adelaide. This is an opportunity to build meaningful business relationships with local companies, helping them optimise their freight and logistics solutions while earning substantial income through our competitive commission structure. You will own your territory, manage your own schedule, and drive revenue growth by connecting businesses with services that genuinely solve their shipping challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Territory Management & Prospecting – visit businesses door‑to‑door across your assigned Adelaide territory to identify companies with shipping and logistics needs.
  • Relationship Building – conduct face‑to‑face meetings with business owners, warehouse managers, and operations managers to understand their freight challenges and build trust through consultative selling.
  • Sales Cycle Ownership – handle the entire sales process from initial door‑knock and needs assessment to presenting customised freight solutions, negotiating pricing, and closing deals.
  • Solution Presentation – demonstrate World Options’ freight platform benefits, including competitive pricing, reliable service, tracking capabilities, and cost savings compared to current providers.
  • Follow‑Up & Conversion – maintain consistent follow‑up with interested prospects via phone and email to convert leads into long‑term customers.
  • Performance Tracking – self‑starter with exceptional discipline for territory coverage, CRM management, and reporting on sales activities and results to your manager.

Our Candidate Profile
  • Essential
    • Proven experience in B2B sales, door‑to‑door sales, or field sales
    • Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
    • Self‑motivated with ability to work independently
    • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
    • Based in Adelaide or willing to travel within Adelaide territory
  • Desirable
    • Experience in freight, logistics, or transportation industry
    • Existing network of business contacts in Adelaide
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools
    • Previous success in commission‑based sales roles
