Job summary

Greencross Vets Narellan & Campbelltown in South West Sydney is seeking a qualified Veterinary Nurse to join as a part-time team member across both clinics. You’ll work across Narellan and Campbelltown, benefiting from a supportive team, modern facilities, and a varied caseload.

In this role you’ll assist veterinarians, support surgical procedures, monitor anaesthesia, manage patient records, and contribute to high standards of care and client education.

Qualifications

• Must have clinical veterinary nursing experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Organised, reliable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during consultations, treatments and procedures.
• Provide surgical preparation and theatre support.
• Monitor anaesthesia and assist in post-operative recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Collect samples and perform diagnostic tests.
• Provide nursing care for hospitalised patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
• Support emergency and urgent care when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients and educate them.
