Job summary

The Recruitment Alternative is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper / Finance Administration Officer for a part-time, flexible role in Sutherland NSW. You will own the day-to-day finance function across Australia and New Zealand, support administration, and work closely with the GM and business owners to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years bookkeeping or senior bookkeeping experience
• Strong Xero and payroll experience including STP
• GST, BAS, payroll tax and workers compensation knowledge
• Experience with AR/AP, reconciliations and reporting
• Excellent Excel skills and budgeting exposure

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration in Xero
• Manage AR/AP, invoicing, reconciliations and payments
• Payroll responsibilities including STP
• GST/BAS preparation and BAS information provision
• Assist with month-end and management reporting
• Support budgeting and cash-flow reporting
• Coordinate with external accountants
• Office management and supplier liaison
