Job summary

Heathdale Christian College is seeking a permanent part-time Secondary Humanities Teacher to join our Christ-centred teaching community in 2027. This position is a 0.4 FTE and is located at our Melton campus.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Secondary Education with VIT registration and brings strong verbal and written communication, autonomy and teamwork. First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis qualifications are required, and the ability to teach Business Management or Legal Studies at the VCE

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Secondary Education.
• Valid VIT registration.
• Strong verbal and written communication skillset.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• First Aid qualified.
• CPR qualified.
• Anaphylaxis qualified.
• Ability to teach Business Management or Legal Studies at VCE level is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach Secondary Humanities at 0.4 FTE in Melton campus.
• Permanent part-time role commencing in 2027.
• Contribute to Heathdale Christian College’s Christ-centred teaching community.
