Job summary

Subway Australia in Inverell is hiring part-time Sandwich Artist team members. We welcome high school students (Years 10–12) and offer shifts for morning, day/lunch, and evenings. Training and growth opportunities abound as you join a fast-paced food-service team.

Previous experience in food prep, retail, or customer service is desirable but not essential because full training and Subway courses will be provided. This could be the start of a rewarding career in the food industry.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare food, including bread and cookies.
• Maintain food storage and prep areas per Health & Safety and Audit standards.
• Comply with Food Code of Practice.
• Operate the till and process transactions.
• Monitor stock levels and check deliveries.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow security and safety procedures and maintain a safe workplace.
• Present a neat uniform and meet Subway brand/customer expectations.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high service standards.

We have several Sandwich Artist positions available at the Inverell Subway store.

• We are looking for 5 new PART TIME team members.
• High school students (Year 10, 11 and 12) are welcome to apply.
  
  

Shifts Schedule

• Morning staff
• Day/Lunch staff
• Evening shift
  
  

Lots of room for growth and training provided.

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses. What’s more important is a winning attitude. If you’re currently working in retail or in a restaurant, perhaps you are studying or have recently graduated and are looking to start a career in the food industry. This could be the perfect opportunity for you!

• Food preparation including bread and cookie baking
• Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards

• Till Operator

• Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet the Subway® brand and customer expectations
