Job summary

The Salvation Army Burpengary Salvos Stores is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations and to deliver an inspiring in-store experience for staff, customers and the local community. This is a permanent part-time role (25 hours per week) based in Burpengary, QLD.

You should have demonstrated experience in retail or customer service, with a passion for delivering outstanding results in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is not essential but highly regarded.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Retail sales and operation of Point-of-Sale devices.
• Collecting, sorting and pricing donations in store.
• Assist in development and coordination of visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Display stock in correct departments following policy and procedure.
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures.
• Demonstrate TSA core values in all work-related activities.
