Job summary

The Salvation Army Modbury Salvos Stores is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the Store Manager in a permanent part-time role (19 hours per week) in Modbury, SA. The role involves assisting with day-to-day retail operations and delivering an inspiring in-store experience for customers and the community.

Rostered days are Thursday, Friday and Saturday. You will collect, sort, price donations, support visual merchandising, and ensure excellent service while upholding TSA values.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales preferred but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and across locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Point-of-Sale devices and handle sales transactions.
• Assist in sorting, pricing and displaying donations in store.
• Support in visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service to shoppers and visitors.
• Arrange stock in departments following policy and procedures.
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety policies.
• Demonstrate The Salvation Army core values in daily activities.
