Job summary

Newcastle Private Hospital, part of Healthscope, is seeking an experienced Rehabilitation RN to join our team on a part-time basis. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care across rehabilitation services at a 189-bed, 11-theatre private facility on the John Hunter Health Campus site in Rankin Park.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current Australian registration (AHPRA).
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in an acute rehabilitation setting.
• Eligibility to work in Australia and NSW Working with Children check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care.
• Supervise and guide nursing team members; ENs and AINs to deliver patient care.
• Provide education and support to individuals for recovery and rehabilitation needs.
• Lead quality improvement and safety projects to achieve outcomes.
• Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.
• Model Safe Practice in all clinical activities.
