Job summary

YourChoice Medical Care in Rouse Hill, NSW is seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse for a part-time role (Tuesdays and Thursdays) with flexibility for additional shifts. You will support doctors in general medical and surgical services, perform nursing procedures, administer vaccines, and contribute to patient education partnering with a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must be an NMBA-registered RN with experience in general practice, CPR/First Aid, and proficiency with electronic health

Qualifications

• NMBA registration as Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
• Experience in general practice or primary care is preferred.
• Strong infection prevention and control knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Proficiency with clinical software and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including wound dressing and vital signs.
• Assist doctors during consultations and minor procedures.
• Administer medications and immunisations per protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Support preventive health initiatives and patient education.
• Triage patients and assess clinical needs on arrival.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with the health team to coordinate care delivery.
• Manage clinical equipment and stock supplies.
