Job summary

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is seeking an experienced physiotherapist to provide high-quality, best-practice care within our Acute Physiotherapy team on a part-time ongoing contract.

The successful applicant will collaborate across general medical, emergency, short stay, orthopaedic surgical wards and maternity, delivering evidence-based care, supporting rotating Grade 1 physiotherapists and allied health assistants, and contributing to service portfolios.

Qualifications

• Experienced physiotherapist to provide high-quality, best-practice care within our Acute Physiotherapy team.
• Commitment to collaborative work across multiple departments including medical, emergency and maternity.
• Strong skills in evidence-based practice and teamwork; demonstrated flexibility of work approach.
• Opportunity to further develop clinical leadership and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, best-practice physiotherapy within Acute Physiotherapy team.
• Collaborate across general medical, emergency, short stay unit, orthopaedic surgical ward, and maternity unit.
• Support rotating Grade 1 Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants; contribute to service portfolios.
• Engage in supervision and professional development activities.
